Powered Paraglider

Be a Powered Paraglider and Fly Without the Normal Hassle

A paraglider needs a mountain, or a hill to launch themselves off of. They also need rising air, like a thermal, or wind blowing up against the mountain. They need thermals to stay in the air longer before descending. This puts SO MANY limitations on where you could launch off from.

It was only a matter of time before some guy decided to get rid of these limitations, and introduced the paramoter.

Having a motor on your back allows you the following :

1. YOU CAN LAUNCH YOURSELF FROM ANYWHERE – with a motor to gain height theres no need for thermals or wind, and you can take off from flat ground.
2. GO FARTHER. – With the power of a paramotor on your back you can travel over very large distances, and simply switch off the engine to glide around once youve reached your favorite height. Or after youve seen the top of Sacha Baron Cohen’s house haha
3. REQUIRES LITTLE TRAINING – By aviation standards its one of the easiest licenses to get.
4. COST EFFECTIVE – When it comes to cost of training, equipment, licensing and running costs, there simply isnt any other form of powered aviation that is as dirt cheap.

And there you have it. If you’ve been paragliding this whole time and have wondered about the benefits of being a powered paraglider, Check out this link on Powered Paraglider.
